The major trading partners of Russia in Asia in the 3rd quarter of 2019:

The top ten Russia’s trade partners in Asia in the 3rd quarter of 2019 were China (16.8513% of Russia’s total foreign trade), Turkey (4.6764%), South Korea (3.7331%), Japan (3.3253%), Kazakhstan (3.1042%), India (1.5278%), Vietnam (0.8389%), Taiwan (0.7951%), Uzbekistan (0.7769%), and Azerbaijan (0.4828%);

The top ten Russia’s export markets in Asia in the 3rd quarter of 2019 were China (13.0658% of Russia’s total exports), Turkey (6.2677%), South Korea (3.9884%), Kazakhstan (3.6353%), Japan (3.0165%), India (1.4835%), Uzbekistan (0.9482%), Taiwan (0.7424%), Azerbaijan (0.6164%), and Saudi Arabia (0.4647%);

The top ten Russia’s import suppliers from Asia in the 3rd quarter of 2019 were China (23.1045% of Russia’s total imports), Japan (3.8352%), South Korea (3.3115%), Kazakhstan (2.2269%), Turkey (2.0477%), Vietnam (1.6641%), India (1.6011%), Taiwan (0.8822%), Thailand (0.7474%), Malaysia (0.7217%).

The most notable changes in Russia's trade with the countries of Asia in the 3rd quarter of 2019 over the 3rd quarter of 2018:

  • The share of Turkey in Russia’s total exports rose from 4.5358% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 6.2677% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Kazakhstan in Russia’s total exports rose from 2.8506% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 3.6353% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Saudi Arabia in Russia’s total exports rose 2.6-fold from 0.1768% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 0.4647% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Kuwait in Russia’s total exports declined 2.8-fold from 0.1657% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 0.0591% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Turkmenistan in Russia’s total exports rose 2.9-fold from 0.0550% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 0.1579% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Turkey in Russia’s total imports rose from 1.6892% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 2.0477% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Singapore in Russia’s total imports declined 2.5-fold from 0.6351% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 0.2517% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Jordan in Russia’s total imports rose 5.8-fold from 0.0016% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 0.0092% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Syria in Russia’s total imports rose 9.0-fold from 0.0003% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 0.0027% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019.
