Russia’s Trade with Denmark

In the 3rd quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with Denmark totaled $1,074,148,571, up 5.43% ($55,339,274) from the 3rd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s exports to Denmark in the 3rd quarter of 2019 were $765,469,591, down 0.23% ($1,746,324) from the 3rd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s imports from Denmark in the 3rd quarter of 2019 totaled $308,678,980, up 22.69% ($57,085,598) from the 3rd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s trade surplus with Denmark in the 3rd quarter of 2019 was $456,790,611, a 11.41% decrease ($58,831,922) over the 3rd quarter of 2018.

Denmark was Russia’s 33rd largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2019 (up from 37th in the 3rd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.6476% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.5921% in the 3rd quarter of 2018).

Denmark was Russia’s 32nd largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2019 (down from 30th in the 3rd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.7409% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.6838% in the 3rd quarter of 2018).

Denmark was Russia’s 34th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2019 (up from 39th in the 3rd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.4935% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.4202% in the 3rd quarter of 2018).

Russia’s Exports to Denmark

The major share of Russian exports to Denmark in the 3rd quarter of 2019 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2018) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 78.15% of Russia’s total exports to Denmark (78.22% in the 3rd quarter of 2018);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 12.01% of Russia’s total exports to Denmark (12.99% in the 3rd quarter of 2018);
