Russia’s Trade with Honduras

In the 3rd quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with Honduras totaled $17,304,100, up 87.28% ($8,064,490) from the 3rd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s exports to Honduras in the 3rd quarter of 2019 totaled $11,566,017, up 160.45% ($7,125,298) from the 3rd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s imports from Honduras in the 3rd quarter of 2019 totaled $5,738,083, up 19.57% ($939,192) from the 3rd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s trade balance with Honduras went from a deficit of $358,172 in the 3rd quarter of 2018, to a surplus of $5,827,934 in the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Honduras was Russia’s 136th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2019 (up from 138th in the 3rd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.0104% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0054% in the 3rd quarter of 2018).

Honduras was Russia’s 119th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2019 (up from 135th in the 3rd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.0112% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0040% in the 3rd quarter of 2018).

Russia’s Imports from Honduras

The major share of Russian imports from Honduras in the 3rd quarter of 2019 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2018) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 94.34% of Russia’s total imports from Honduras (92.74% in the 3rd quarter of 2018);
  • Textiles, textile products and footwear (HS codes 50-67) - 5.15% of Russia’s total imports from Honduras (2.46% in the 3rd quarter of 2018);
