The top five Russia’s trade partners in North America in the 3rd quarter of 2019 were the US (3.7513% of Russia’s total foreign trade), Mexico (0.4037%), Canada (0.3273%), Puerto Rico (0.0706%), and Cuba (0.0404%);

The top five Russia’s export markets in North America in the 3rd quarter of 2019 were the US (3.1086% of Russia’s total exports), Mexico (0.3592%), Canada (0.2304%), Cuba (0.0620%), and Puerto Rico (0.0425%);

The top five Russia’s import suppliers from North America in the 3rd quarter of 2019 were the US (4.8130% of Russia’s total imports), Canada (0.4874%), Mexico (0.4773%), Puerto Rico (0.1170%), and Jamaica (0.0280%).

The most notable changes in Russia's trade with the countries of North America in the 3rd quarter of 2019 over the 3rd quarter of 2018:

  • The share of Trinidad and Tobago in Russia’s total exports declined 4.6-fold from 0.1007% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 0.0217% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Puerto Rico in Russia’s total exports rose 23.6-fold from 0.0018% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 0.0425% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Jamaica in Russia’s total exports declined 6.0-fold from 0.0006% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 0.0001% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Jamaica in Russia’s total imports rose 9.7-fold from 0.0029% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 0.0280% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Trinidad and Tobago in Russia’s total imports declined 5.0-fold from 0.0015% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 0.0003% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019.
