Russia’s Trade with South Ossetia

In the 3rd quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with South Ossetia totaled $21,590,419, up 39.84% ($6,151,033) from the 3rd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s exports to South Ossetia in the 3rd quarter of 2019 totaled $16,765,090, up 35.43% ($4,386,216) from the 3rd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s imports from South Ossetia in the 3rd quarter of 2019 totaled $4,825,329, up 57.66% ($1,764,817) from the 3rd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s trade surplus with South Ossetia in the 3rd quarter of 2019 was $11,939,761, a 28.13% increase ($2,621,399) over the 3rd quarter of 2018.

South Ossetia was Russia’s 126th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2019 (up from 130th in the 3rd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.0130% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0090% in the 3rd quarter of 2018).
