The major trading partners of Russia in Asia in the 4th quarter of 2019:

The top ten Russia’s trade partners in Asia in the 4th quarter of 2019 were China (17.2587% of Russia’s total foreign trade), Turkey (3.5894%), South Korea (3.0285%), Kazakhstan (2.9415%), Japan (2.7309%), India (2.0229%), Uzbekistan (0.8535%), Taiwan (0.7977%), Vietnam (0.7249%), and Azerbaijan (0.5427%);

The top ten Russia’s export markets in Asia in the 4th quarter of 2019 were China (13.9490% of Russia’s total exports), Turkey (4.4253%), Kazakhstan (3.4918%), South Korea (3.1630%), Japan (2.4176%), India (2.2042%), Uzbekistan (1.0947%), Taiwan (0.7599%), Azerbaijan (0.6352%), and Armenia (0.6029%);

The top ten Russia’s import suppliers from Asia in the 4th quarter of 2019 were China (22.7000% of Russia’s total imports), Japan (3.2461%), South Korea (2.8074%), Turkey (2.2152%), Kazakhstan (2.0368%), India (1.7248%), Vietnam (1.4633%), Taiwan (0.8599%), Malaysia (0.7402%), and Thailand (0.6817%).

The most notable changes in Russia's trade with the countries of Asia in the 4th quarter of 2019 over the 4th quarter of 2018:

  • The share of South Korea in Russia’s total exports declined from 4.3498% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 3.1630% in the 4th quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Kazakhstan in Russia’s total exports rose from 2.6278% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 3.4918% in the 4th quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of India in Russia’s total exports rose from 1.8100% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 2.2042% in the 4th quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Vietnam in Russia’s total exports declined 3.3-fold from 0.9098% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 0.2757% in the 4th quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Bangladesh in Russia’s total exports rose from 0.2601% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 0.5045% in the 4th quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Thailand in Russia’s total exports declined 2.7-fold from 0.1788% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 0.0651% in the 4th quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Saudi Arabia in Russia’s total exports rose 2.2-fold from 0.1686% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 0.3627% in the 4th quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Yemen in Russia’s total exports declined 3.0-fold from 0.0924% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 0.0303% in the 4th quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Cambodia in Russia’s total exports rose 5.1-fold from 0.0021% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 0.0108% in the 4th quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of India in Russia’s total imports rose from 1.3961% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 1.7248% in the 4th quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Turkmenistan in Russia’s total imports declined 2.0-fold from 0.1124% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 0.0556% in the 4th quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Jordan in Russia’s total imports rose 10.5-fold from 0.0022% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 0.0231% in the 4th quarter of the 2019.
