Russia’s Trade with Bosnia and Herzegovina

In the 4th quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with Bosnia and Herzegovina was $37,851,706, down 43.62% ($29,280,345) from the 4th quarter of 2018.

Russia’s exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 4th quarter of 2019 were $3,487,705, down 87.60% ($24,641,075) from the 4th quarter of 2018.

Russia’s imports from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 4th quarter of 2019 were $34,364,001, down 11.89% ($4,639,270) from the 4th quarter of 2018.

Russia’s trade deficit with Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 4th quarter of 2019 was $30,876,296, a 183.93% increase ($20,001,805) over the 4th quarter of 2018.

Bosnia and Herzegovina was Russia’s 108th largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2019 (down from 99th in the 4th quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.0210% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0359% in the 4th quarter of 2018).

Bosnia and Herzegovina was Russia’s 129th largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2019 (down from 101st in the 4th quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.0031% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.0226% in the 4th quarter of 2018).

Bosnia and Herzegovina was Russia’s 80th largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2019 (up from 81st in the 4th quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.0505% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0626% in the 4th quarter of 2018).

  • Articles of stone, plaster, cement, asbestos, mica or similar materials (HS code 68) - an increase of $24,161;
  • Railway or tramway locomotives, rolling-stock and parts thereof; railway or tramway track fixtures and fittings and parts thereof; mechanical (including electro-mechanical) traffic signalling equipment of all kinds (HS code 86) - an increase of $14,564.

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 4th quarter of 2019 over the 4th quarter of 2018 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Salt; sulfur; earths and stone; plastering materials, lime and cement (HS code 25) - a decrease of $17,158.
