The major trading partners of Russia in Europe in the 4th quarter of 2019:

The top ten Russia’s trade partners in Europe in the 4th quarter of 2019 were Germany (8.1079% of Russia’s total foreign trade), the Netherlands (6.4092%), Belarus (4.7632%), Italy (3.8644%), the United Kingdom (3.6395%), Poland (2.7601%), France (2.6053%), Finland (1.7544%), Ukraine (1.3357%), and the Czech Republic (1.2943%);

The top ten Russia’s export markets in Europe in the 4th quarter of 2019 were the Netherlands (9.2223% of Russia’s total exports), Germany (6.6911%), the United Kingdom (4.8043%), Belarus (4.7560%), Italy (3.2099%), Poland (3.1336%), Finland (2.0587%), France (1.6398%), Belgium (1.4798%), and Latvia (1.1696%);

The top ten Russia’s import suppliers from Europe in the 4th quarter of 2019 were Germany (10.4371% of Russia’s total imports), Italy (4.9404%), Belarus (4.7751%), France (4.1927%), Poland (2.1461%), the Netherlands (1.7843%), Ukraine (1.7412%), the United Kingdom (1.7243%), the Czech Republic (1.6186%), and Spain (1.4611%).

The most notable changes in Russia's trade with the countries of Europe in the 4th quarter of 2019 over the 4th quarter of 2018:

  • The share of Ukraine in Russia’s total exports declined 2.1-fold from 2.2505% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 1.0891% in the 4th quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of the United Kingdom in Russia’s total exports rose 2.8-fold from 1.7133% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 4.8043% in the 4th quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Switzerland in Russia’s total exports declined from 1.0706% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 0.6672% in the 4th quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Cyprus in Russia’s total exports declined 2.4-fold from 0.2833% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 0.1195% in the 4th quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Norway in Russia’s total exports rose from 0.2409% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 0.4720% in the 4th quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Serbia in Russia’s total exports rose 2.3-fold from 0.2324% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 0.5417% in the 4th quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Portugal in Russia’s total exports declined 3.4-fold from 0.1798% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 0.0525% in the 4th quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Ireland in Russia’s total exports declined 2.3-fold from 0.1702% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 0.0725% in the 4th quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Russia’s total exports declined 7.3-fold from 0.0226% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 0.0031% in the 4th quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of France in Russia’s total imports rose from 3.4625% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 4.1927% in the 4th quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Ukraine in Russia’s total imports declined from 2.2452% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 1.7412% in the 4th quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Switzerland in Russia’s total imports rose from 1.1393% in the 4th quarter of the 2018 to 1.4415% in the 4th quarter of the 2019.
