Russia’s Trade with Sweden

In the 4th quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with Sweden was $1,194,121,891, down 13.02% ($178,738,597) from the 4th quarter of 2018.

Russia’s exports to Sweden in the 4th quarter of 2019 were $553,276,102, down 29.65% ($233,197,501) from the 4th quarter of 2018.

Russia’s imports from Sweden in the 4th quarter of 2019 totaled $640,845,789, up 9.29% ($54,458,904) from the 4th quarter of 2018.

Russia’s trade balance with Sweden went from a surplus of $200,086,718 in the 4th quarter of 2018, to a deficit of $87,569,687 in the 4th quarter of 2019.

Sweden was Russia’s 31st largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2019 (down from 28th in the 4th quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.6639% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.7348% in the 4th quarter of 2018).

Sweden was Russia’s 43rd largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2019 (down from 36th in the 4th quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.4947% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.6317% in the 4th quarter of 2018).

Sweden was Russia’s 24th largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2019 (up from 27th in the 4th quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.9420% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.9406% in the 4th quarter of 2018).

Russia’s Exports to Sweden

The major share of Russian exports to Sweden in the 4th quarter of 2019 (and in the 4th quarter of 2018) was accounted for the following product types:
