Russia’s Trade with Indonesia

In 2019, Russia’s trade with Indonesia was $2,451,954,021, down 5.09% ($131,502,524) from 2018.

Russia’s exports to Indonesia in 2019 were $769,896,921, down 11.31% ($98,196,943) from 2018.

Russia’s imports from Indonesia in 2019 were $1,682,057,100, down 1.94% ($33,305,581) from 2018.

Russia’s trade deficit with Indonesia in 2019 was $912,160,179, a 7.66% increase ($64,891,362) over 2018.

Indonesia was Russia’s 46th largest trading partner in 2019 (down from 44th in 2018), accounting for 0.3679% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.3754% in 2018).

Indonesia was Russia’s 59th largest export market in 2019 (down from 57th in 2018), accounting for 0.1821% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.1929% in 2018).

Indonesia was Russia’s 30th largest supplier in 2019 (just as in 2018), accounting for 0.6900% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.7203% in 2018).

  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 23.86% of Russia’s total exports to Indonesia (23.98% in 2018);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 18.72% of Russia’s total exports to Indonesia (21.01% in 2018);
  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 10.12% of Russia’s total exports to Indonesia (30.23% in 2018);
