Russia’s Trade with Chile

In the 1st quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Chile totaled $242,380,020, up 14.88% ($31,400,129) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s exports to Chile in the 1st quarter of 2020 were $15,170,457, down 12.17% ($2,103,025) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s imports from Chile in the 1st quarter of 2020 totaled $227,209,563, up 17.30% ($33,503,154) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s trade deficit with Chile in the 1st quarter of 2020 was $212,039,106, a 20.18% increase ($35,606,179) over the 1st quarter of 2019.

Chile was Russia’s 66th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2020 (up from 69th in the 1st quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.1705% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.1340% in the 1st quarter of 2019).

Chile was Russia’s 103rd largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2020 (up from 107th in the 1st quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0170% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0165% in the 1st quarter of 2019).

Chile was Russia’s 39th largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2020 (up from 42nd in the 1st quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.4274% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.3652% in the 1st quarter of 2019).

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 37.32% of Russia’s total exports to Chile (27.97% in the 1st quarter of 2019);
  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 6.71% of Russia’s total exports to Chile (2.82% in the 1st quarter of 2019);
  • Wood and wood products (HS codes 44-49) - 5.94% of Russia’s total exports to Chile (13.47% in the 1st quarter of 2019);
