Russia’s Trade with Denmark

In the 1st quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Denmark was $745,747,191, down 36.83% ($434,808,269) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s exports to Denmark in the 1st quarter of 2020 were $526,678,603, down 44.15% ($416,361,141) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s imports from Denmark in the 1st quarter of 2020 were $219,068,588, down 7.77% ($18,447,128) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s trade surplus with Denmark in the 1st quarter of 2020 was $307,610,015, a 56.40% decrease ($397,914,013) over the 1st quarter of 2019.

Denmark was Russia’s 38th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2020 (down from 26th in the 1st quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.5247% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.7499% in the 1st quarter of 2019).

Denmark was Russia’s 34th largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2020 (down from 27th in the 1st quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.5919% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.9034% in the 1st quarter of 2019).

Denmark was Russia’s 40th largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2020 (down from 37th in the 1st quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.4121% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.4478% in the 1st quarter of 2019).

Russia’s Exports to Denmark

The major share of Russian exports to Denmark in the 1st quarter of 2020 (and in the 1st quarter of 2019) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 67.31% of Russia’s total exports to Denmark (81.82% in the 1st quarter of 2019);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 18.47% of Russia’s total exports to Denmark (11.02% in the 1st quarter of 2019);

Russia’s Imports from Denmark
