Russia’s Trade with Latvia

In the 1st quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Latvia totaled $1,283,443,721, up 3.42% ($42,466,134) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s exports to Latvia in the 1st quarter of 2020 totaled $1,188,110,937, up 2.83% ($32,723,734) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s imports from Latvia in the 1st quarter of 2020 totaled $95,332,784, up 11.38% ($9,742,400) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s trade surplus with Latvia in the 1st quarter of 2020 was $1,092,778,153, a 2.15% increase ($22,981,334) over the 1st quarter of 2019.

Latvia was Russia’s 22nd largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2020 (up from 24th in the 1st quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.9029% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.7883% in the 1st quarter of 2019).

Latvia was Russia’s 17th largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2020 (up from 22nd in the 1st quarter of 2019), accounting for 1.3352% of Russia’s total exports (up from 1.1069% in the 1st quarter of 2019).

Latvia was Russia’s 60th largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2020 (up from 61st in the 1st quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.1793% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.1614% in the 1st quarter of 2019).

Russia’s Exports to Latvia

The major share of Russian exports to Latvia in the 1st quarter of 2020 (and in the 1st quarter of 2019) was accounted for the following product types:
