Russia’s Trade with Lithuania

In the 1st quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Lithuania was $775,326,920, down 30.87% ($346,179,521) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s exports to Lithuania in the 1st quarter of 2020 were $641,176,950, down 35.56% ($353,780,307) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s imports from Lithuania in the 1st quarter of 2020 totaled $134,149,970, up 6.01% ($7,600,786) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s trade surplus with Lithuania in the 1st quarter of 2020 was $507,026,980, a 41.61% decrease ($361,381,093) over the 1st quarter of 2019.

Lithuania was Russia’s 36th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2020 (down from 28th in the 1st quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.5455% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.7124% in the 1st quarter of 2019).

Lithuania was Russia’s 32nd largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2020 (down from 25th in the 1st quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.7206% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.9532% in the 1st quarter of 2019).

Lithuania was Russia’s 51st largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2020 (up from 53rd in the 1st quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.2524% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.2386% in the 1st quarter of 2019).

Russia’s Exports to Lithuania

The major share of Russian exports to Lithuania in the 1st quarter of 2020 (and in the 1st quarter of 2019) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 62.88% of Russia’s total exports to Lithuania (74.63% in the 1st quarter of 2019);
