Russia’s Trade with Mongolia
In the 1st quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Mongolia was $361,741,082, down 5.11% ($19,495,582) from the 1st quarter of 2019.
Russia’s exports to Mongolia in the 1st quarter of 2020 were $354,282,323, down 5.28% ($19,745,276) from the 1st quarter of 2019.
Russia’s imports from Mongolia in the 1st quarter of 2020 totaled $7,458,759, up 3.46% ($249,694) from the 1st quarter of 2019.
Russia’s trade surplus with Mongolia in the 1st quarter of 2020 was $346,823,564, a 5.45% decrease ($19,994,970) over the 1st quarter of 2019.
Mongolia was Russia’s 55th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2020 (up from 57th in the 1st quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.2545% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.2422% in the 1st quarter of 2019).
Mongolia was Russia’s 43rd largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2020 (up from 45th in the 1st quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.3982% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.3583% in the 1st quarter of 2019).
Mongolia was Russia’s 100th largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2020 (down from 99th in the 1st quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0140% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0136% in the 1st quarter of 2019).

The major share of Russian exports to Mongolia in the 1st quarter of 2020 (and in the 1st quarter of 2019) was accounted for the following product types:
