Russia’s Trade with Qatar

In the 1st quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Qatar totaled $28,990,262, up 55.96% ($10,401,678) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s exports to Qatar in the 1st quarter of 2020 totaled $18,366,530, up 93.11% ($8,855,650) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s imports from Qatar in the 1st quarter of 2020 totaled $10,623,732, up 17.03% ($1,546,028) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s trade surplus with Qatar in the 1st quarter of 2020 was $7,742,798, a 1,687.45% increase ($7,309,622) over the 1st quarter of 2019.

Qatar was Russia’s 108th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2020 (up from 121st in the 1st quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0204% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0118% in the 1st quarter of 2019).

Qatar was Russia’s 101st largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2020 (up from 117th in the 1st quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0206% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0091% in the 1st quarter of 2019).

Qatar was Russia’s 94th largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2020 (up from 95th in the 1st quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0200% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0171% in the 1st quarter of 2019).

  • Inorganic chemicals; organic or inorganic compounds of precious metals, of rare-earth metals,of radioactive elements or of isotopes (HS code 28) - a decrease of $133,169;
  • Electrical machinery and equipment and parts thereof; sound recorders and reproducers, television image and sound recorders and reproducers, and parts and accessories of such articles (HS code 85) - a decrease of $100,468;
  • Works of art, collectors’ pieces and antiques (HS code 97) - a decrease of $65,488.
