In the 1st quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with South Ossetia totaled $18,457,361, up 76.60% ($8,005,885) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s exports to South Ossetia in the 1st quarter of 2020 totaled $13,862,772, up 52.49% ($4,771,936) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s imports from South Ossetia in the 1st quarter of 2020 totaled $4,594,589, up 237.68% ($3,233,949) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s trade surplus with South Ossetia in the 1st quarter of 2020 was $9,268,183, a 19.90% increase ($1,537,987) over the 1st quarter of 2019.

South Ossetia was Russia’s 118th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2020 (up from 133rd in the 1st quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0130% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0066% in the 1st quarter of 2019).
