Russia’s Trade with Costa Rica
In the 2nd quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Costa Rica was $23,869,024, down 11.56% ($3,118,736) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.
Russia’s exports to Costa Rica in the 2nd quarter of 2020 were $4,314,625, down 18.07% ($951,676) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.
Russia’s imports from Costa Rica in the 2nd quarter of 2020 were $19,554,399, down 9.98% ($2,167,060) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.
Russia’s trade deficit with Costa Rica in the 2nd quarter of 2020 was $15,239,774, a 7.39% decrease ($1,215,384) over the 2nd quarter of 2019.
Costa Rica was Russia’s 111th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (down from 110th in the 2nd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0196% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0169% in the 2nd quarter of 2019).

Russia’s Exports to Costa Rica
The major share of Russian exports to Costa Rica in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2019) was accounted for the following product types:

- Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 21.37% of Russia’s total exports to Costa Rica (0.94% in the 2nd quarter of 2019);

Russia’s Imports from Costa Rica
The major share of Russian imports from Costa Rica in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2019) was accounted for the following product types:
