Russia’s Trade with Mongolia

In the 2nd quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Mongolia was $397,868,840, down 5.04% ($21,130,180) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s exports to Mongolia in the 2nd quarter of 2020 were $386,888,101, down 5.33% ($21,802,304) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s imports from Mongolia in the 2nd quarter of 2020 totaled $10,980,739, up 6.52% ($672,124) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s trade surplus with Mongolia in the 2nd quarter of 2020 was $375,907,362, a 5.64% decrease ($22,474,428) over the 2nd quarter of 2019.

Mongolia was Russia’s 49th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (up from 53rd in the 2nd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.3261% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.2617% in the 2nd quarter of 2019).

Mongolia was Russia’s 38th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (up from 41st in the 2nd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.5533% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.4056% in the 2nd quarter of 2019).

Mongolia was Russia’s 93rd largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (up from 94th in the 2nd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0211% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0174% in the 2nd quarter of 2019).

Russia’s Exports to Mongolia

The major share of Russian exports to Mongolia in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2019) was accounted for the following product types:
