Russia’s Trade with Morocco
In the 2nd quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Morocco was $255,858,752, down 8.78% ($24,631,438) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.
Russia’s exports to Morocco in the 2nd quarter of 2020 totaled $206,513,004, up 19.24% ($33,319,781) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.
Russia’s imports from Morocco in the 2nd quarter of 2020 were $49,345,748, down 54.01% ($57,951,219) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.
Russia’s trade surplus with Morocco in the 2nd quarter of 2020 was $157,167,256, a 138.51% increase ($91,271,000) over the 2nd quarter of 2019.
Morocco was Russia’s 66th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (down from 65th in the 2nd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.2097% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.1752% in the 2nd quarter of 2019).
Morocco was Russia’s 53rd largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (up from 60th in the 2nd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.2954% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.1719% in the 2nd quarter of 2019).
Morocco was Russia’s 71st largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (down from 59th in the 2nd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0947% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.1809% in the 2nd quarter of 2019).
Russia’s Exports to Morocco
The major share of Russian exports to Morocco in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2019) was accounted for the following product types:
- Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 43.20% of Russia’s total exports to Morocco (33.47% in the 2nd quarter of 2019);
- Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 34.58% of Russia’s total exports to Morocco (27.05% in the 2nd quarter of 2019);
