Russia’s Trade with Paraguay

In the 2nd quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Paraguay was $111,012,197, down 30.00% ($47,582,193) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s exports to Paraguay in the 2nd quarter of 2020 totaled $7,066,418, up 11.96% ($754,649) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s imports from Paraguay in the 2nd quarter of 2020 were $103,945,779, down 31.74% ($48,336,842) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s trade deficit with Paraguay in the 2nd quarter of 2020 was $96,879,361, a 33.63% decrease ($49,091,491) over the 2nd quarter of 2019.

  • Inorganic chemicals; organic or inorganic compounds of precious metals, of rare-earth metals,of radioactive elements or of isotopes (HS code 28) - an increase of $47,740;
  • Organic chemicals (HS code 29) - an increase of $36,519.

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Paraguay in the 2nd quarter of 2020 over the 2nd quarter of 2019 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Fertilizers (HS code 31) - a decrease of $5,653,672;
  • Plastics and articles thereof (HS code 39) - a decrease of $86,684.
