Russia’s Trade with Peru
In the 2nd quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Peru was $80,440,377, down 42.69% ($59,918,726) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.
Russia’s exports to Peru in the 2nd quarter of 2020 were $26,850,835, down 36.64% ($15,524,766) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.
Russia’s imports from Peru in the 2nd quarter of 2020 were $53,589,542, down 45.31% ($44,393,960) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.
Russia’s trade deficit with Peru in the 2nd quarter of 2020 was $26,738,707, a 51.92% decrease ($28,869,194) over the 2nd quarter of 2019.
Peru was Russia’s 84th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (down from 75th in the 2nd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0659% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0877% in the 2nd quarter of 2019).
Peru was Russia’s 93rd largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (down from 87th in the 2nd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0384% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.0421% in the 2nd quarter of 2019).
Peru was Russia’s 70th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (down from 61st in the 2nd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.1029% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.1652% in the 2nd quarter of 2019).

The major share of Russian exports to Peru in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2019) was accounted for the following product types:
- Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 75.24% of Russia’s total exports to Peru (54.51% in the 2nd quarter of 2019);
- Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 9.44% of Russia’s total exports to Peru (36.04% in the 2nd quarter of 2019);
- Wood and wood products (HS codes 44-49) - 5.81% of Russia’s total exports to Peru (3.78% in the 2nd quarter of 2019);
