Russia’s Trade with Qatar

In the 2nd quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Qatar totaled $27,989,210, up 60.09% ($10,505,315) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s exports to Qatar in the 2nd quarter of 2020 totaled $22,152,257, up 144.25% ($13,082,832) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s imports from Qatar in the 2nd quarter of 2020 were $5,836,953, down 30.63% ($2,577,517) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s trade surplus with Qatar in the 2nd quarter of 2020 was $16,315,304, a 2,391.06% increase ($15,660,349) over the 2nd quarter of 2019.

Qatar was Russia’s 108th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (up from 124th in the 2nd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0229% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0109% in the 2nd quarter of 2019).

Qatar was Russia’s 98th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (up from 121st in the 2nd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0317% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0090% in the 2nd quarter of 2019).

Qatar was Russia’s 103rd largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (down from 98th in the 2nd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0112% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0142% in the 2nd quarter of 2019).

  • Optical, photographic, cinematographic, measuring, checking, precision, medical or surgical instruments and apparatus; parts and accessories thereof (HS code 90) - a decrease of $151,953;
  • Meat and edible meat offal (HS code 02) - a decrease of $124,191;
  • Tanning or dyeing extracts; dyes, pigments, paints, varnishes, putty and mastics (HS code 32) - a decrease of $84,600;
  • Miscellaneous chemical products (HS code 38) - a decrease of $82,941;
  • Articles of iron or steel (HS code 73) - a decrease of $66,947.
