Russia’s Trade with Turkmenistan

In the 2nd quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Turkmenistan totaled $364,674,403, up 187.12% ($237,661,797) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s exports to Turkmenistan in the 2nd quarter of 2020 totaled $146,813,903, up 70.05% ($60,480,342) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s imports from Turkmenistan in the 2nd quarter of 2020 totaled $217,860,500, up 435.56% ($177,181,455) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s trade balance with Turkmenistan went from a surplus of $45,654,516 in the 2nd quarter of 2019, to a deficit of $71,046,597 in the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Turkmenistan was Russia’s 54th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (up from 79th in the 2nd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.2989% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0793% in the 2nd quarter of 2019).
