Russia’s Trade with Greece

In the 3rd quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Greece was $559,168,951, down 55.43% ($695,503,703) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s exports to Greece in the 3rd quarter of 2020 were $503,526,426, down 57.61% ($684,260,066) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s imports from Greece in the 3rd quarter of 2020 were $55,642,525, down 16.81% ($11,243,637) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s trade surplus with Greece in the 3rd quarter of 2020 was $447,883,901, a 60.04% decrease ($673,016,429) over the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Greece was Russia’s 41st largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (down from 27th in the 3rd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.4094% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.7564% in the 3rd quarter of 2019).

Greece was Russia’s 31st largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (down from 19th in the 3rd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.6402% of Russia’s total exports (down from 1.1496% in the 3rd quarter of 2019).

Greece was Russia’s 69th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (down from 67th in the 3rd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0961% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.1069% in the 3rd quarter of 2019).

Russia’s Exports to Greece

The major share of Russian exports to Greece in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2019) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 83.90% of Russia’s total exports to Greece (92.98% in the 3rd quarter of 2019);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 9.71% of Russia’s total exports to Greece (4.02% in the 3rd quarter of 2019);
  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 3.44% of Russia’s total exports to Greece (1.10% in the 3rd quarter of 2019);
