Russia’s Trade with Morocco

In the 3rd quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Morocco was $265,932,051, down 8.17% ($23,675,248) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s exports to Morocco in the 3rd quarter of 2020 were $213,939,073, down 4.04% ($8,997,504) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s imports from Morocco in the 3rd quarter of 2020 were $51,992,978, down 22.02% ($14,677,744) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s trade surplus with Morocco in the 3rd quarter of 2020 was $161,946,095, a 3.63% increase ($5,680,240) over the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Morocco was Russia’s 63rd largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (up from 64th in the 3rd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.1947% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.1746% in the 3rd quarter of 2019).

Morocco was Russia’s 74th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (down from 68th in the 3rd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0898% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.1066% in the 3rd quarter of 2019).

Russia’s Exports to Morocco

The major share of Russian exports to Morocco in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2019) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 73.28% of Russia’s total exports to Morocco (74.47% in the 3rd quarter of 2019);
  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 17.06% of Russia’s total exports to Morocco (17.32% in the 3rd quarter of 2019);
