Russia’s Trade with Paraguay

In the 3rd quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Paraguay was $159,492,284, down 8.24% ($14,323,646) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s exports to Paraguay in the 3rd quarter of 2020 totaled $8,477,805, up 201.65% ($5,667,332) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s imports from Paraguay in the 3rd quarter of 2020 were $151,014,479, down 11.69% ($19,990,978) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s trade deficit with Paraguay in the 3rd quarter of 2020 was $142,536,674, a 15.26% decrease ($25,658,310) over the 3rd quarter of 2019.

  • Inorganic chemicals; organic or inorganic compounds of precious metals, of rare-earth metals,of radioactive elements or of isotopes (HS code 28) - an increase of $44,644;
  • Paper and paperboard; articles of paper pulp, of paper or of paperboard (HS code 48) - an increase of $37,934.

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Paraguay in the 3rd quarter of 2020 over the 3rd quarter of 2019 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Tanning or dyeing extracts; dyes, pigments, paints, varnishes, putty and mastics (HS code 32) - a decrease of $36,800;
  • Preparations of vegetables, fruit, nuts or other parts of plants (HS code 20) - a decrease of $27,836.
