Russia’s Trade with Turkey

In the 3rd quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Turkey was $4,994,838,784, down 35.61% ($2,761,956,415) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s exports to Turkey in the 3rd quarter of 2020 were $3,704,978,428, down 42.79% ($2,770,991,712) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s imports from Turkey in the 3rd quarter of 2020 totaled $1,289,860,356, up 0.71% ($9,035,297) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s trade surplus with Turkey in the 3rd quarter of 2020 was $2,415,118,072, a 53.51% decrease ($2,780,027,009) over the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Turkey was Russia’s 7th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (down from 5th in the 3rd quarter of 2019), accounting for 3.6573% of Russia’s total trade (down from 4.6764% in the 3rd quarter of 2019).

Turkey was Russia’s 6th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (down from 3rd in the 3rd quarter of 2019), accounting for 4.7105% of Russia’s total exports (down from 6.2677% in the 3rd quarter of 2019).

The major share of Russian exports to Turkey in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2019) was accounted for the following product types:
