Russia’s Trade with Uruguay
In the 3rd quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Uruguay was $34,842,701, down 29.05% ($14,269,246) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.
Russia’s exports to Uruguay in the 3rd quarter of 2020 totaled $10,770,478, up 5.61% ($571,916) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.
Russia’s imports from Uruguay in the 3rd quarter of 2020 were $24,072,223, down 38.14% ($14,841,162) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.
Russia’s trade deficit with Uruguay in the 3rd quarter of 2020 was $13,301,745, a 53.68% decrease ($15,413,078) over the 3rd quarter of 2019.
Uruguay was Russia’s 107th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (down from 104th in the 3rd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0255% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0296% in the 3rd quarter of 2019).
Uruguay was Russia’s 120th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (up from 123rd in the 3rd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0137% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0099% in the 3rd quarter of 2019).
Uruguay was Russia’s 81st largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (down from 79th in the 3rd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0416% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0622% in the 3rd quarter of 2019).
Russia’s Exports to Uruguay
The major share of Russian exports to Uruguay in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2019) was accounted for the following product types:

- Essential oils and resinoids; perfumery, cosmetic or toilet preparations (HS code 33) - an increase of $227,859;
- Animal or vegetable fats and oils and their cleavage products prepared edible fats; animal or vegetable waxes (HS code 15) - an increase of $61,881;
- Vehicles other than railway or tramway rolling stock, and parts and accessories thereof (HS code 87) - an increase of $45,872.
