Russia’s Trade with Turkey

In the 4th quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Turkey was $5,720,845,765, down 11.39% ($735,398,685) from the 4th quarter of 2019.

Russia’s exports to Turkey in the 4th quarter of 2020 were $4,105,181,324, down 17.06% ($844,124,228) from the 4th quarter of 2019.

Russia’s imports from Turkey in the 4th quarter of 2020 totaled $1,615,664,441, up 7.21% ($108,725,543) from the 4th quarter of 2019.

Russia’s trade surplus with Turkey in the 4th quarter of 2020 was $2,489,516,883, a 27.68% decrease ($952,849,771) over the 4th quarter of 2019.

Turkey was Russia’s 9th largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2020 (down from 8th in the 4th quarter of 2019), accounting for 3.5301% of Russia’s total trade (down from 3.5894% in the 4th quarter of 2019).

Turkey was Russia’s 6th largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2020 (just as in the 4th quarter of 2019), accounting for 4.3475% of Russia’s total exports (down from 4.4253% in the 4th quarter of 2019).

Turkey was Russia’s 9th largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2020 (just as in the 4th quarter of 2019), accounting for 2.3889% of Russia’s total imports (up from 2.2152% in the 4th quarter of 2019).

The major share of Russian exports to Turkey in the 4th quarter of 2020 (and in the 4th quarter of 2019) was accounted for the following product types:
