Russia’s Trade with Chile

In the 1st quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with Chile was $189,790,560, down 21.70% ($52,589,460) from the 1st quarter of 2020.

Russia’s exports to Chile in the 1st quarter of 2021 were $13,702,047, down 9.68% ($1,468,410) from the 1st quarter of 2020.

Russia’s imports from Chile in the 1st quarter of 2021 were $176,088,513, down 22.50% ($51,121,050) from the 1st quarter of 2020.

Russia’s trade deficit with Chile in the 1st quarter of 2021 was $162,386,466, a 23.42% decrease ($49,652,640) over the 1st quarter of 2020.

Chile was Russia’s 68th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2021 (down from 66th in the 1st quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.1228% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.1705% in the 1st quarter of 2020).

Chile was Russia’s 116th largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2021 (down from 103rd in the 1st quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0149% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.0170% in the 1st quarter of 2020).

Chile was Russia’s 44th largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2021 (down from 39th in the 1st quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.2827% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.4274% in the 1st quarter of 2020).

  • Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 8.57% of Russia’s total exports to Chile (3.56% in the 1st quarter of 2020);

Russia’s Imports from Chile

The major share of Russian imports from Chile in the 1st quarter of 2021 (and in the 1st quarter of 2020) was accounted for the following product types:
