Russia’s Trade with Morocco
In the 1st quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with Morocco was $330,886,563, down 1.78% ($6,008,412) from the 1st quarter of 2020.
Russia’s exports to Morocco in the 1st quarter of 2021 totaled $218,555,615, up 23.92% ($42,189,362) from the 1st quarter of 2020.
Russia’s imports from Morocco in the 1st quarter of 2021 were $112,330,948, down 30.02% ($48,197,774) from the 1st quarter of 2020.
Russia’s trade surplus with Morocco in the 1st quarter of 2021 was $106,224,667, a 570.71% increase ($90,387,136) over the 1st quarter of 2020.
Morocco was Russia’s 57th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2021 (up from 58th in the 1st quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.2141% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.2370% in the 1st quarter of 2020).
Morocco was Russia’s 53rd largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2021 (up from 61st in the 1st quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.2369% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.1982% in the 1st quarter of 2020).
Morocco was Russia’s 56th largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2021 (down from 48th in the 1st quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.1803% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.3020% in the 1st quarter of 2020).
Russia’s Exports to Morocco
The major share of Russian exports to Morocco in the 1st quarter of 2021 (and in the 1st quarter of 2020) was accounted for the following product types:
- Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 58.76% of Russia’s total exports to Morocco (70.71% in the 1st quarter of 2020);
- Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 24.99% of Russia’s total exports to Morocco (15.33% in the 1st quarter of 2020);
- Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 9.90% of Russia’s total exports to Morocco (4.79% in the 1st quarter of 2020);
