Russia’s Trade with Peru

In the 1st quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with Peru totaled $122,735,586, up 8.50% ($9,610,098) from the 1st quarter of 2020.

Russia’s exports to Peru in the 1st quarter of 2021 totaled $54,915,535, up 2.36% ($1,268,506) from the 1st quarter of 2020.

Russia’s imports from Peru in the 1st quarter of 2021 totaled $67,820,051, up 14.02% ($8,341,592) from the 1st quarter of 2020.

Russia’s trade deficit with Peru in the 1st quarter of 2021 was $12,904,516, a 121.29% increase ($7,073,086) over the 1st quarter of 2020.

Peru was Russia’s 81st largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2021 (just as in the 1st quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0794% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0796% in the 1st quarter of 2020).

Peru was Russia’s 88th largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2021 (down from 81st in the 1st quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0595% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.0603% in the 1st quarter of 2020).

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Peru in the 1st quarter of 2021 over the 1st quarter of 2020 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Mineral fuels, mineral oils and products of their distillation; bituminous substances; mineral waxes (HS code 27) - a decrease of $8,181,105;
