Russia’s Trade with Singapore
In the 1st quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with Singapore was $533,415,296, down 6.88% ($39,392,494) from the 1st quarter of 2020.
Russia’s exports to Singapore in the 1st quarter of 2021 were $412,617,709, down 9.51% ($43,372,651) from the 1st quarter of 2020.
Russia’s imports from Singapore in the 1st quarter of 2021 totaled $120,797,587, up 3.41% ($3,980,157) from the 1st quarter of 2020.
Russia’s trade surplus with Singapore in the 1st quarter of 2021 was $291,820,122, a 13.96% decrease ($47,352,808) over the 1st quarter of 2020.
Singapore was Russia’s 46th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2021 (down from 44th in the 1st quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.3451% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.4030% in the 1st quarter of 2020).
Singapore was Russia’s 40th largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2021 (down from 38th in the 1st quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.4472% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.5125% in the 1st quarter of 2020).
Singapore was Russia’s 53rd largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2021 (up from 55th in the 1st quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.1939% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.2198% in the 1st quarter of 2020).
Russia’s Exports to Singapore
The major share of Russian exports to Singapore in the 1st quarter of 2021 (and in the 1st quarter of 2020) was accounted for the following product types:
- Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 94.67% of Russia’s total exports to Singapore (95.58% in the 1st quarter of 2020);
- Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 2.49% of Russia’s total exports to Singapore (0.66% in the 1st quarter of 2020);
