Russia’s Trade with Yemen

In the 1st quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with Yemen totaled $118,673,869, up 116.54% ($63,869,077) from the 1st quarter of 2020.

Russia’s exports to Yemen in the 1st quarter of 2021 totaled $118,672,841, up 116.58% ($63,878,918) from the 1st quarter of 2020.

Russia’s imports from Yemen in the 1st quarter of 2021 were $1,028, down 90.54% ($9,841) from the 1st quarter of 2020.

Russia’s trade surplus with Yemen in the 1st quarter of 2021 was $118,671,813, a 116.62% increase ($63,888,759) over the 1st quarter of 2020.

Yemen was Russia’s 83rd largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2021 (up from 90th in the 1st quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0768% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0386% in the 1st quarter of 2020).

Yemen was Russia’s 65th largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2021 (up from 80th in the 1st quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.1286% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0616% in the 1st quarter of 2020).

Yemen was Russia’s 193rd largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2021 (down from 165th in the 1st quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0000% of Russia’s total imports (just as in the 1st quarter of 2020).

  • Nuclear reactors, boilers, machinery and mechanical appliances; parts thereof (HS code 84) - an increase of $955,637;
  • Paper and paperboard; articles of paper pulp, of paper or of paperboard (HS code 48) - an increase of $569,265;
  • Cocoa and cocoa preparations (HS code 18) - an increase of $405,703;
  • Optical, photographic, cinematographic, measuring, checking, precision, medical or surgical instruments and apparatus; parts and accessories thereof (HS code 90) - an increase of $368,519.
