Russia’s Trade with South Africa

In the 2nd quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with South Africa totaled $316,469,397, up 13.52% ($37,686,422) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s exports to South Africa in the 2nd quarter of 2021 were $70,526,912, down 26.83% ($25,854,647) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s imports from South Africa in the 2nd quarter of 2021 totaled $245,942,485, up 34.84% ($63,541,069) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s trade deficit with South Africa in the 2nd quarter of 2021 was $175,415,573, a 103.92% increase ($89,395,716) over the 2nd quarter of 2020.

South Africa was Russia’s 63rd largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.1672% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.2285% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).
