Russia’s Trade with Tajikistan

In the 2nd quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with Tajikistan totaled $302,678,403, up 83.74% ($137,945,445) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s exports to Tajikistan in the 2nd quarter of 2021 totaled $281,514,549, up 77.24% ($122,682,237) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s imports from Tajikistan in the 2nd quarter of 2021 totaled $21,163,854, up 258.67% ($15,263,208) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s trade surplus with Tajikistan in the 2nd quarter of 2021 was $260,350,695, a 70.24% increase ($107,419,029) over the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Tajikistan was Russia’s 66th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (up from 71st in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.1599% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.1350% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).

Tajikistan was Russia’s 55th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (up from 58th in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.2447% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.2272% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).

Tajikistan was Russia’s 93rd largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (up from 102nd in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0285% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0113% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).

The major share of Russian exports to Tajikistan in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2020) was accounted for the following product types:
