Russia’s Trade with the United Arab Emirates

In the 2nd quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with the United Arab Emirates totaled $1,381,575,838, up 234.69% ($968,782,681) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s exports to the United Arab Emirates in the 2nd quarter of 2021 totaled $1,260,963,212, up 259.17% ($909,882,232) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s imports from the United Arab Emirates in the 2nd quarter of 2021 totaled $120,612,626, up 95.44% ($58,900,449) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s trade surplus with the United Arab Emirates in the 2nd quarter of 2021 was $1,140,350,586, a 294.08% increase ($850,981,783) over the 2nd quarter of 2020.

The United Arab Emirates was Russia’s 28th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (up from 48th in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.7300% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.3383% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).

The United Arab Emirates was Russia’s 19th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (up from 44th in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 1.0962% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.5021% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).

The United Arab Emirates was Russia’s 60th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (up from 67th in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.1625% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.1185% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).

The major share of Russian exports to the United Arab Emirates in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2020) was accounted for the following product types:
