Russia’s Trade with Tunisia

In the 2nd quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with Tunisia totaled $158,376,135, up 33.56% ($39,798,463) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s exports to Tunisia in the 2nd quarter of 2021 totaled $121,243,082, up 19.98% ($20,187,249) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s imports from Tunisia in the 2nd quarter of 2021 totaled $37,133,053, up 111.92% ($19,611,214) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s trade surplus with Tunisia in the 2nd quarter of 2021 was $84,110,029, a 0.69% increase ($576,035) over the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Tunisia was Russia’s 78th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (down from 73rd in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0837% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0972% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).

Tunisia was Russia’s 70th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (down from 63rd in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.1054% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.1445% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).

Tunisia was Russia’s 80th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (up from 87th in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0500% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0336% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).

Russia’s Exports to Tunisia

The major share of Russian exports to Tunisia in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2020) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Inorganic chemicals; organic or inorganic compounds of precious metals, of rare-earth metals,of radioactive elements or of isotopes (HS code 28) - an increase of $2,083,407;
  • Organic chemicals (HS code 29) - an increase of $1,882,876;
  • Iron and steel (HS code 72) - an increase of $1,389,064;

Russia’s Imports from Tunisia
