Russia’s Trade with Azerbaijan
In the 3rd quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with Azerbaijan totaled $790,238,889, up 11.04% ($78,586,298) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.
Russia’s exports to Azerbaijan in the 3rd quarter of 2021 totaled $567,700,696, up 5.92% ($31,742,956) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.
Russia’s imports from Azerbaijan in the 3rd quarter of 2021 totaled $222,538,193, up 26.66% ($46,843,342) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.
Russia’s trade surplus with Azerbaijan in the 3rd quarter of 2021 was $345,162,503, a 4.19% decrease ($15,100,386) over the 3rd quarter of 2020.
Azerbaijan was Russia’s 43rd largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (down from 30th in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.3791% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.5211% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).
Azerbaijan was Russia’s 44th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (down from 30th in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.4256% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.6814% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).
Azerbaijan was Russia’s 45th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (down from 44th in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.2964% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.3033% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).

The major share of Russian exports to Azerbaijan in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2020) was accounted for the following product types:
