Russia’s Trade with Jordan
In the 3rd quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with Jordan was $75,464,409, down 9.61% ($8,022,980) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.
Russia’s exports to Jordan in the 3rd quarter of 2021 were $54,088,072, down 18.77% ($12,499,455) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.
Russia’s imports from Jordan in the 3rd quarter of 2021 totaled $21,376,337, up 26.49% ($4,476,475) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.
Russia’s trade surplus with Jordan in the 3rd quarter of 2021 was $32,711,735, a 34.17% decrease ($16,975,930) over the 3rd quarter of 2020.
Jordan was Russia’s 95th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (down from 85th in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0362% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0611% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).
Jordan was Russia’s 96th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (down from 75th in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0405% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.0847% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).
Jordan was Russia’s 88th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (up from 92nd in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0285% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0292% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).
Russia’s Exports to Jordan
The major share of Russian exports to Jordan in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2020) was accounted for the following product types:

- Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 24.11% of Russia’s total exports to Jordan (1.96% in the 3rd quarter of 2020);
- Wood and wood products (HS codes 44-49) - 10.26% of Russia’s total exports to Jordan (4.96% in the 3rd quarter of 2020);
- Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 9.31% of Russia’s total exports to Jordan (0.55% in the 3rd quarter of 2020);

- Vehicles other than railway or tramway rolling stock, and parts and accessories thereof (HS code 87) - an increase of $1,066,392;
- Paper and paperboard; articles of paper pulp, of paper or of paperboard (HS code 48) - an increase of $476,008;
