Russia’s Trade with Lebanon
In the 3rd quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with Lebanon totaled $157,913,249, up 78.93% ($69,656,971) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.
Russia’s exports to Lebanon in the 3rd quarter of 2021 totaled $150,564,549, up 78.38% ($66,159,021) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.
Russia’s imports from Lebanon in the 3rd quarter of 2021 totaled $7,348,700, up 90.84% ($3,497,950) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.
Russia’s trade surplus with Lebanon in the 3rd quarter of 2021 was $143,215,849, a 77.79% increase ($62,661,071) over the 3rd quarter of 2020.
Lebanon was Russia’s 81st largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (up from 83rd in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0757% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0646% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).
Lebanon was Russia’s 69th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (up from 70th in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.1129% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.1073% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).
Lebanon was Russia’s 107th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (up from 113th in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0098% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0066% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).
Russia’s Exports to Lebanon
The major share of Russian exports to Lebanon in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2020) was accounted for the following product types:
- Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 79.97% of Russia’s total exports to Lebanon (70.18% in the 3rd quarter of 2020);
- Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 11.78% of Russia’s total exports to Lebanon (18.62% in the 3rd quarter of 2020);
- Wood and wood products (HS codes 44-49) - 5.57% of Russia’s total exports to Lebanon (3.90% in the 3rd quarter of 2020);
