Russia’s Trade with Malta

In the 3rd quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with Malta totaled $690,486,650, up 57.80% ($252,910,583) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s exports to Malta in the 3rd quarter of 2021 totaled $686,094,254, up 59.41% ($255,687,690) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s imports from Malta in the 3rd quarter of 2021 were $4,392,396, down 38.74% ($2,777,107) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s trade surplus with Malta in the 3rd quarter of 2021 was $681,701,858, a 61.07% increase ($258,464,797) over the 3rd quarter of 2020.

Malta was Russia’s 48th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (just as in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.3312% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.3204% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).

Malta was Russia’s 39th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (down from 34th in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.5144% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.5472% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).

Malta was Russia’s 115th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (down from 102nd in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0058% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0124% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).

Russia’s Imports from Malta

  • Plastics and articles thereof (HS code 39) - a decrease of $27,849.
