Russia’s Trade with South Ossetia

In the 3rd quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with South Ossetia totaled $33,103,475, up 42.38% ($9,853,652) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s exports to South Ossetia in the 3rd quarter of 2021 totaled $26,747,503, up 53.20% ($9,288,590) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s imports from South Ossetia in the 3rd quarter of 2021 totaled $6,355,972, up 9.76% ($565,062) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s trade surplus with South Ossetia in the 3rd quarter of 2021 was $20,391,531, a 74.76% increase ($8,723,528) over the 3rd quarter of 2020.

South Ossetia was Russia’s 126th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (down from 118th in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0159% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0170% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).

South Ossetia was Russia’s 112th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (down from 108th in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0201% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.0222% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).

South Ossetia was Russia’s 108th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (just as in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0085% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0100% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).
