In 2013, Russia’s trade with Uruguay was $405,609,178, down 34.96% ($218,024,526) from 2012.

Russia’s exports to Uruguay in 2013 were $80,367,757, down 59.95% ($120,309,770) from 2012.

Russia’s imports from Uruguay in 2013 were $325,241,421, down 23.10% ($97,714,756) from 2012.

Russia’s trade deficit with Uruguay in 2013 was $244,873,664, a 10.17% increase ($22,595,014) over 2012.

Uruguay was Russia’s 85th largest trading partner in 2013 (down from 76th in 2012), accounting for 0.0482% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0741% in 2012).

Uruguay was Russia’s 102nd largest export market in 2013 (down from 85th in 2012), accounting for 0.0152% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.0382% in 2012).

Uruguay was Russia’s 67th largest supplier in 2013 (down from 59th in 2012), accounting for 0.1033% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.1333% in 2012).

  • Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 3.43% of Russia’s total exports to Uruguay (0.12% in 2012);

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Uruguay in 2013 over 2012 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Mineral fuels, mineral oils and products of their distillation; bituminous substances; mineral waxes (HS code 27) - a decrease of $135,244,043;
  • Paper and paperboard; articles of paper pulp, of paper or of paperboard (HS code 48) - a decrease of $1,444,629;
  • Organic chemicals (HS code 29) - a decrease of $296,688.
