Russia's Trade with Serbia

In the 2nd quarter of 2016, Russia's trade with Serbia totaled $381,608,847, up 18.84% ($60,494,189) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Russia's exports to Serbia in the 2nd quarter of 2016 totaled $159,485,827, up 9.38% ($13,677,659) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Russia's imports from Serbia in the 2nd quarter of 2016 totaled $222,123,020, up 26.71% ($46,816,530) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Russia's trade deficit with Serbia in the 2nd quarter of 2016 was $62,637,193, a 112.34% increase ($33,138,871) over the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Serbia was Russia's 46th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (up from 53rd in the 2nd quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.3506% of Russia's total trade (up from 0.2355% in the 2nd quarter of 2015).

Serbia was Russia's 55th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (up from 62nd in the 2nd quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.2400% of Russia's total exports (up from 0.1593% in the 2nd quarter of 2015).

Serbia was Russia's 37th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (up from 42nd in the 2nd quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.5240% of Russia's total imports (up from 0.3914% in the 2nd quarter of 2015).

Russia's Exports to Serbia

The major share of Russian exports to Serbia in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2015) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 29.59% of Russia's total exports to Serbia (4.00% in the 2nd quarter of 2015);
  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 21.83% of Russia's total exports to Serbia (45.61% in the 2nd quarter of 2015);
