Russia’s exports to Ethiopia in the 4th quarter of 2016 totaled $167,389,987, up 1,770.10% ($158,439,143) from the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s imports from Ethiopia in the 4th quarter of 2016 were $6,716,513, down 18.42% ($1,516,851) from the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s trade surplus with Ethiopia in the 4th quarter of 2016 was $160,673,474, a 22,294.14% increase ($159,955,994) over the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s Imports from Ethiopia

The major share of Russian imports from Ethiopia in the 4th quarter of 2016 (and in the 4th quarter of 2015) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Textiles, textile products and footwear (HS codes 50-67) - 1.68% of Russia’s total imports from Ethiopia (0.17% in the 4th quarter of 2015).
