In 2016, Russia’s trade with Pakistan totaled $404,994,486, up 2.34% ($9,246,696) from 2015.

Russia’s exports to Pakistan in 2016 totaled $132,974,201, up 36.42% ($35,497,445) from 2015.

Russia’s imports from Pakistan in 2016 were $272,020,285, down 8.80% ($26,250,749) from 2015.

Russia’s trade deficit with Pakistan in 2016 was $139,046,084, a 30.75% decrease ($61,748,194) over 2015.

Pakistan was Russia’s 79th largest trading partner in 2016 (up from 80th in 2015), accounting for 0.0866% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0752% in 2015).

Pakistan was Russia’s 92nd largest export market in 2016 (up from 99th in 2015), accounting for 0.0466% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0284% in 2015).

Pakistan was Russia’s 64th largest supplier in 2016 (down from 58th in 2015), accounting for 0.1492% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.1633% in 2015).

  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 28.15% of Russia’s total exports to Pakistan (27.00% in 2015);
  • Wood and wood products (HS codes 44-49) - 23.79% of Russia’s total exports to Pakistan (30.33% in 2015);
  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 9.89% of Russia’s total exports to Pakistan (12.03% in 2015);
  • Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 4.50% of Russia’s total exports to Pakistan (5.05% in 2015);

  • Mineral fuels, mineral oils and products of their distillation; bituminous substances; mineral waxes (HS code 27) - an increase of $3,223,708;
  • Electrical machinery and equipment and parts thereof; sound recorders and reproducers, television image and sound recorders and reproducers, and parts and accessories of such articles (HS code 85) - an increase of $1,886,496;
  • Inorganic chemicals; organic or inorganic compounds of precious metals, of rare-earth metals,of radioactive elements or of isotopes (HS code 28) - an increase of $1,343,437;

  • Coffee, tea, maté and spices (HS code 09) - a decrease of $1,441,484;
  • Cereals (HS code 10) - a decrease of $1,360,709;
