In the 2nd quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with Yemen totaled $67,773,731, up 270.07% ($49,459,910) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s exports to Yemen in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $67,772,822, up 270.07% ($49,459,192) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s imports from Yemen in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $909, up 375.92% ($718) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s trade surplus with Yemen in the 2nd quarter of 2017 was $67,771,913, a 270.07% increase ($49,458,474) over the 2nd quarter of 2016.

Yemen was Russia’s 92nd largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (up from 110th in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0485% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0168% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

Yemen was Russia’s 80th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (up from 96th in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0807% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0276% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

Russia’s Imports from Yemen

The major share of Russian imports from Yemen in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2016) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 65.35% of Russia’s total imports from Yemen (100.00% in the 2nd quarter of 2016);
  • Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 34.65% of Russia’s total imports from Yemen (0.00% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).
