Russia’s Trade with the United Kingdom

In the 2nd quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with the United Kingdom totaled $3,493,819,913, up 16.09% ($484,181,415) from the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to the United Kingdom in the 2nd quarter of 2018 totaled $2,458,254,547, up 22.40% ($449,956,739) from the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from the United Kingdom in the 2nd quarter of 2018 totaled $1,035,565,366, up 3.42% ($34,224,676) from the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade surplus with the United Kingdom in the 2nd quarter of 2018 was $1,422,689,181, a 41.29% increase ($415,732,063) over the 2nd quarter of 2017.

The United Kingdom was Russia’s 15th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2018 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2017), accounting for 2.0442% of Russia’s total trade (down from 2.1535% in the 2nd quarter of 2017).

The United Kingdom was Russia’s 13th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2018 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2017), accounting for 2.2306% of Russia’s total exports (down from 2.3916% in the 2nd quarter of 2017).

The United Kingdom was Russia’s 13th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2018 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2017), accounting for 1.7058% of Russia’s total imports (down from 1.7950% in the 2nd quarter of 2017).

Russia’s Exports to the United Kingdom

The major share of Russian exports to the United Kingdom in the 2nd quarter of 2018 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2017) was accounted for the following product types:
